Over on the the forum of flog DCUK a new member has started a thread called "hi all wheat free" and posted the first quote below. Followed up by low carb high fat anti Noblehead.

"hi. Ive been type 1 for 30 years. I was diagnosed in april 1984 so almost 30 years...im going to have a party but for now would like some advice/support/information....I have decided to try wheat free eating. despite following nhs advice, I have taken care of my diabetes but now have a painful complication of trigger finger, early signs of retinopathy, depression, fibromyalgia.....nothing is working. im tired of drs making me feel like a burden when im now sick and tired of being sick and tired. so...ive decided to go wheat free.....
8 units today instead of 35...no hunger, feeling pain and bloating free, lighter, no bloating, bloods ok all day....is this the way forward?????"
Noblehead
"It's a promising start, there are members on this forum who have had diabetes a long time and developed a wheat intolerance so your not alone."
How about this for openers, just about every member of the forum past and present has a severe wheat intolerance full stop! and it ain't gonno go away, ever. Cereals, bread, biscuits, cakes and all sorts of high carb highly processed food products contain wheat i.e. high carb, around 60% carb on average.
You can see where this is going, it's not wheat per sa it's CARBS. Of course Noblehead and his carb pushing meds promoting numbskulls would never admit this, perhaps they don't know. Who knows, one thing is for sure, 99% of the success stories at the flog have involved a big reduction in carbs, and wheat was probably the first thing to go.
